Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today confirmed its Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) security systems and Integrated Security Gateway (ISG) firewall/virtual private network (VPN) systems with IDP offer protection for new Microsoft vulnerabilities announced today.
According to the Gartner report, 'The Magic Quadrant considers which vendors likely will dominate remote-access VPN sales and influence technology directions through 2013, as well as which vendors are most visible among clients, generate the greatest number of requests for information and contract reviews, and account for the most new and ongoing installations in Gartner's client base.' Their actions raise the competitive bar for all products in the market, and they can change the course of the industry. To remain in the Leaders quadrant, vendors must excel in mobile access and protection and must dominate in sales.'
